Embedded Developer (Robotics) - March Start - 12 Month Project - up to €70 p/h - BrusselsMy client is a multinational robotic company looking to kickstart their upcoming project by onboarding an experienced embedded developer on a freelance basis. Running for 12 months, the initial contract is due to start in March and to be completed in Brussels.
Whilst French speaking candidates are at an advantage, English speaking candidates with a strong technical background are encouraged to reply.
Essentially, your role will be to design and implement embedded software for robotic systems for features including navigation aspects, motors control, control of sensors modules and sensors data processing algorithms.

Requirements:
- 5+ years working in embedded development
- Experience working with RTOS
- Communication protocols knowledge (CAN, TCP/IP…),
- Experience working at a very low level with a solid understanding of the interfaces and hardware subsystems (microcontroller architectures, electronics schematics)
- Either from a robotic background or with a solid engineering understanding (mechanics, electrical, telecommunications, sensors, data processing algorithms)
