My Client a Financial Trading organisation is currently looking for an IPC Trader Field Engineer to join their team in London on a permanent basis.The primary function of the role is to provide on-site support of IPC Alliance dealing systems and associated turrets for a number of UK customers.
The role involves;
- Assisting the customers as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the trading floor and to deliver moves & changes as required.
- Utilising diagnostic tools to undertake trouble shooting and making configuration changes or replace central equipment and desk end hardware where necessaryProvide out of hours emergency assistance as required
- Attend Sales and service meetings with client and the AVT account manager - to assist with the good running of the IPC systems under contract.
- To assist with ensuring that customer projects are correctly delivered, from Moves Adds and Changes to larger installations.
- As the IPC platform is just one of our supported technologies, we will be providing additional training, for example in leading-edge technologies such as Speakerbus and Red Box recording, thereby we ensure our personnel are kept up to date with advancements in the field of trader voice services.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with;
- IPC Alliance Trading Systems experience, installation and support.
- Release 15.03 (and lower) management system experience
- Knowledge of EASe, trouble shooting, fault rectification and hardware repair.
- Good knowledge of Sparcstation, its configuration and management. SysView & IView.
- IPC Turret configuration of IQMAX & IQMX ranges, including add-on modules and Speakers.
- Voice Recording, ideally Cybertech, Nice & Red Box.
