Description

My Client, a Global Swiss Bank who is currently on an exciting growth curve are seeking a LIBOR Data Analyst for an initial 12 month contract with a strong likelihood for extension to be based at their Zurich site.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the transition in contracts, models, products and processes from LIBOR to the industry-agreed alternative reference rates across the Swiss booking platform, the international Private Banking booking centers and (to a lesser degree) Asset Management.
  • Design of a data repository of contracts and exposures to LIBOR
  • Build of a working prototype for project purposes incl. sourcing of data feeds
  • Data quality management
  • Definition and maintenance of standard exposure and progress metrics for transition
  • Creation and execution of ad hoc queries
  • Participation in the global and CRO exposure dashboard developments


The successful incumbent will possess:
  • 7-10 years of working experience
  • Data management: ability to design and implement pragmatic data solutions as repositories (i.e. not necessary large scale enterprise data management)
  • Data quality assessment and management e.g. consistency and plausibility checks (in interaction with Businesses)
  • Prototyping: experience in developing end user application for data management with imperfect data sources
  • Excel - advanced level


If the candidate possesses Understanding of financial products and instruments, particularly OTC derivatives and lending / R - intermediate knowledge this would be highly advantageous.
