AZURE DEVOPS ENGINEER | REMOTE WORKING | 100EU P/H | IMMEDIATE START | 12 MONTHSOptimus Search is working closely with a leading IT consultancy based in Hamburg, this company specialise in providing IT solutions to a number of industries ranging from Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications and Logistics.
One of their largest clients is about to embark on a large scale Azure migration project which is set to go on for at least 2 years.
Due to the current situation on going right now this client is willing to bring on people to work 100% remote. Interviews ASAP.
THE ROLE
- Manage, develop, build CI/CD pipeline, including: Check code quality; Unit, integration and functional tests implementation; PowerShell scripting for custom tasks automation; Environments strategy understanding.
- Strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft based systems;
- Microsoft Azure Cloud: ARM templates writing, setup automation for resources provisioning (Azure PowerShell)
- Azure services (Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Service Fabric, Azure Storage Account;
- Understanding of load balancers, DNS, virtual networks and firewalls in cloud environment;
- Setup monitoring (performance metrics, OMS).
- Azure Active Directory basics (Azure AD authentication; Users and groups; Roles)
- Experience in hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.
- Good knowledge of programming scripting and data science languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, PHP, Ruby, PERL, C++, R, etc.
- Strong experience in CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management and automation tools such as GitHub, VSTS, Ansible, DSC, Puppet, Ambari, Chef, Salt, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
- Experience with any of the following: Azure, O365, Azure Stack, Azure AD
