Antenna Design Engineer - ASAP Start - 12 Month Project - Gothenburg - On Site - English SpeakingMy client is working in the field of 5G research and are looking to on board an expert Antenna Engineer, ideally from a BTS background to assist in driving the project forwards as effectively as possible. Essentially your role will focus on researching 5G antenna hardware, architectures and key enabling technologies with the end goal of realising innovative antenna solutions for current and future wireless networks.
The project is due to run for 12 months, however the client have a track record of offering extensions assuming both parties are happy. Note, this project is in Gothenburg and does not offer any remote work - please only apply if you are happy with this.
We are looking to get this role filled ASAP and have interview slots booked in from 5/3.
Requirements:
- Ideally educated to PhD level in Antenna Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Array Signal Processing, Electronic Engineering, RF Metamaterials or several years professional experience
- Strong background in antenna theory, antenna system & design, wireless communications, signal processing
- Deep knowledge about multi-antenna systems
- Good understanding of antenna systems, channel models and wireless propagation, radio systems and radio system components.
- Substantial experience in antenna EM simulation tools, such as CST, Ansys HFSS.
- Familiar with LTE standards and new radio-standards/technologies in 5G and 3GPP.
