Mission objectives:
The SAP Business Competence Center (BCC HR) provides functional and technical support to SAP HCM users. The BCC HR helps with process monitoring, the development of new functionalities and supports new projects relating to HR modules in SAP. The BCC also takes care of the system configuration. Our client started in 2019 and continued in 2020, the migration to the Fiori launchpad of a set of critical functionalities for our internal HR client, namely the encoding of services in CATS (timesheet), the distribution of costs for internal staff and external, the transfer to Finance of this distribution of costs, as well as the management of rapid intervention services. To this is added the preparation for the migration of our Back End system to S4HANA. In this context, this mission aims to provide technical and functional support for these Fiori applications and more broadly, to provide daily support in the functional areas: SAP HCM Time, PA, OM.
Typical mission tasks:
- Provide support to end-users who encode HR and CO data via Fiori (timesheet and cost distribution application):
- It involves producing or maintaining training documents, (FR and NL)
- Provide training/coaching where necessary (FR and NL)
- Perform all the necessary analyzes in test and development environments in order to resolve bugs in a very short time.
- To be in permanent contact with the developers in order to ensure a follow-up allowing to arrive at a quick and qualitative solution (answer questions, update the FSP, agree on the schedule etc.) via Jira
- Give support during the Time closure
- Maintain technical documentation
- Monitor jobs and interfaces
- Carry out the necessary developments within the framework of the management of rapid intervention services:
- Act as a point of contact for the HR business when collecting and translating their needs (HR regulatory knowledge required)
- Design and implement (yourself and with developers) the technical solution for the calculation of premiums and allowance for guards, interventions or rescue allowance
- To be in permanent contact with the developers in order to ensure a follow-up allowing to arrive at a quick and qualitative solution (answer questions, update the FSP, agree on the schedule etc.) via Jira
- Configuration of requested adjustments/extensions
- Unit tests of configuration and developments
- Configuration and development integration tests
- Preparation of acceptance tests: planning, training document etc ...
- Provide the necessary support to the business during the UAT and non regression tests phase.
- Organize production and ensure the hypercare
- Update documentation
- Ensure knowledge transfer to internal people in the SAP Time, SAP team
- Help prepare for migration to S4HANA:
- Unit and integration tests
- UAT tests to plan and coordinate with the internal client.
- Participate in daily support depending on the volume of requests and the areas affected: the scope of support covers the areas PA/OM/Time/Competence (Back End and Front End)
