My Client, an IT Services provider who is currently on an exciting growth curve are seeking an CGC Production Support to be based at their end Client's site in Zurich for an initial 12 months with a strong likelihood for extension.Key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for monitoring multiple business applications and services in production as 2nd Level
- Handling incident tickets as well as business user calls
- Responsible for production stability and Major Incident management ("MIM")
- Responsibility for Batch job monitoring and troubleshooting
- Writing and running scripts on DB for ad-hoc reports
- Application / component administration on Windows/ Unix servers
- Participation in the events such as Quarterly Maintenance Windows and Disaster Recovery rehearsals
The successful incumbent will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering
- Must have 8+ years of experience with production support in Banking/other domains
- Experience in UNIX & Windows environment
- Experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL and data analysis
- Through understanding of batch jobs using Ctrl-M
- Experience supporting web-based applications is preferred
- Working knowledge of Service Now, Splunk, certificate renewals etc. is preferred
