Description

IT End User Support Administrator

Role:
For our client in Zurich we are looking for a person with expertise in IT End User Support Administrator. In this role you will be providing 1st and 2nd level workplace support to the end users in a service-oriented manner, assisting in IT Projects, handling administrative work in Infrastructure Management and ensuring day-to-day IT operations.

Main Tasks:
* Provide technical support and service for internal users
* Deliver support to internal users in a consistent, high quality and responsive manner
* Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnose technical problems
* Understand user needs, take ownership of reported issues through their resolution while providing regular status updates and manage users' expectations.
* Provide an effective interface between users and other IT teams
* Assist users in making more effective use of their workplace systems, products and services
* Perform VIP support
* Act as technical expert in the team
* Support our transition to cloud, including Office 365 and assist users with this journey and new way of working
* Support Zurich new Office project (new office IT build-out & move)

Requirements:
* You have an apprenticeship/diploma in a Computer Sciences or similar education in IT and/or Networking area, and at least 5 years' experience in a similar role in an international environment.
* In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 (both physical and virtual PC), iOS, and Android.
* Strong local and remote support of MS Office 365, Symantec Enpoint Protection (SEP), and MS Intune.
* Knowledge of Active Directory (account & device administration).
* Willingness to work in shifts or with defined schedules
* Familiarity with Cisco IP Telephony system/Cisco Jabber.
* Video and Telephone Conference systems - MS Teams.
* Remote Access and Network security technologies.

Nice to Have:
* ServiceDesk Ticketing and Asset Management tools. Knowledge of Cherwell would be a plus.
* ITIL Foundation V4 would be a plus

Languages:
* Fluent in written and spoken English and German language
