Description
Automation Engineer vacancy requiring profound GMP knowledge for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years' experience as an MES Automation Engineer, ideally within GMP operational environments such as the pharmaceutical or biological industry
- Profound practice with MES systems, preferably Emerson Syncade
- Ability to write technical instructions along with capability of working with P&IDs, PFDs including reading and interpreting process descriptions
- Knowhow of DeltaV is beneficial
- Familiarity with collaborating across different functions in the organisation including automation, engineering, operations and manufacturing user functions
- Languages: English fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Providing technical expertise on operations management systems and enabling the writing of manufacturing procedures and specifications
- Bridging the gap between operations, QA requirements and the automation solution
- Writing technical instructions on how to setup, run and dismantle single use biotechnology process equipment
- Assisting in translating the instructions into functional requirements
- Offering technical knowhow on further OMS standard functions such as material tracking, sample management, EBRs and equipment usage
