Description
Must Haves:• Very good knowledge of: VLANs, CDP/LLDP, UDLD, trunking, etherchannels, 802.1D STP and flavors, FHRPs, IPv4 addressing - VLSM & CIDR, IPv6, OSPF & BGP routing protocols, static routing, IPSec VPN, GRE, ACL, NAT, TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, HTTP
• Very knowledge and hands on experience with Cisco switches running, NX-OS/ IOS, Cisco ASA Firewalls;
• Very good knowledge and hands on experience with at least one of the following: Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls or BIG-IP F5 (LTM, BIG-IP DNS);
• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux operating systems;
• Excellent command of English;
Also here are the main duties:
Manage day-to-day operations for multi-vendor Data Center & Enterprise networks:
• Implementation & troubleshooting of FCR (Firewall Change Requests), VPN & LoadBalancer configurations;
• Configuration & troubleshooting of switches, routers, WLAN;
• Troubleshooting & root cause analysis at network level for Incidents reported by SHS Incident Management;
• Proactively monitor the network infrastructures and ensure all problems are solved or reported/escalated to the appropriate teams/ department members when required;
• Perform software updates & upgrades on network devices for functional & security fixes, new features;
• Follow the configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of network changes;
• Work on assignments (network tasks/ projects) from a supervisor and collaborate with internal departments, third parties or vendors;
• Report all risks associated with assigned tasks to supervisor;
• Maintain existing documentation (diagrams, job-aids, procedures, etc.);
• Follow internal team and department rules and guidelines as well as company security policies;
• Participate in the weekly alternating 24/7 network on-call duty;
