Role description:
The Azure cloud architect (network) combines strategic and industrial standards within Azure cloud with the focus on network related topics.
This temporary role within IPM CN requires to support and design additional technical requirements, demands and solutions as well as new responsibilities in business areas.
design, conception and implementation of Azure cloud network services within IPM (Service lifecycle, guidelines, policies and standards)
definition and further development of guidelines for infrastructure solutions and technical Standards
support in setting up Azure cloud network related processes/workflows within IPM
proactive working within the team to define, develop and transfer of services in projects to daily business and operations
maintaining and support the existing international infrastructure and Services
be responsible for definition, further development and evaluation of new industrial standards of Services
provide assistance, guidance and support to/for network operation team on daily operations
assistance with evaluation, selection and steering of suppliers
close cooperation within IPM to design and implement systems / components
Anforderungen
Experience:
excellent knowledge in development, design and operation of cloud infrastructure Service
thinking creatively ‘outside the box’ to deliver innovative and cost effective solutions and designs that work end-to-end and can be adapted as required
experience in design and concepts of Azure cloud networks and infrastructure Services
experience with firewalls, network accelerators and internet proxies
experience of managing various and conflicting business demands
experience in similar position with technical certifications or knowledge and at least 5 years of professional experience as cloud architect or equivalent
knowledge and experience in project management and customer communications
fluent in English and German and willingness to travel
