*PAYE CONTRACT*
My client is looking for a Cloud Engineer for a 9 month contract.
This client will require all candidates to be PAYE and will be offering up to £600/day + 25 holidays.
Key Requirements:
- As a Cloud Engineer delivering sustainable and scalable application/infrastructure using Agile delivery
- Advanced knowledge, experience and understanding of; o Infrastructure as code (IaC) (preferably Terraform)
- Git
- A variety of Scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash or Go
- Delivering new services, features and patterns via an agile DevOps approach
- Microsoft Azure platform, Information security for the cloud, eg Firewalls, networking, PaaS & IaaS services
- Working with Agile' tools, Kanban Boards, Wiki, etc.
- Working with Azure DevOps pipelines
- Best practices in coding and automation processes and ways of working
- Industry trends/latest thinking on cloud platform, automation and coding patterns and components
Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications eg Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Security Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Expert, Azure Architect Expert
Advanced understanding, knowledge and experience of;
- Building IaC, via Terraform
- Resource tagging
- Azure Sentinel
- Cost management in Azure
