Are you a seasoned developer/VMWare Engineer with experience in a virtualisation, Scripting & automation environment? Do you have skills in vRO/vRA and/or ESXi, Mule?
Myles Roberts are currently looking to bring onboard a VMWare specialist to work with a large, global banking client. You will join the virtualisation team for a upgrade deployment project to assist with 'new technology' test functionality and suitability of a product/design. Working with other areas of the business, you will also ensure defined solutions meet business needs, strategic long term goals and manage vendor relationships at a technical level.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Previous experience working in a virtualisation, Scripting and/or automation role
- An in-depth technical understanding of Virtualisation and Cloud
- Product knowledge of storage technologies such as EMC/NetApp
- Product knowledge of Cloud computing services such as AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform etc.
- Experience in automation/orchestration technologies
- Experience in Ruby, Python, Golang and/or Java programming languages
- Qualifications in VMware, CCNA or cloud related would be desirable.
