We have a client who is one of the fastest growing IT Services Company. Their services span from application management outsourcing, packaged application services, verification and testing, remote infrastructure management, product development and support. This specific role work be working with one of their automotive clients who are a manufacturer that also offers financial and mobility services. We are looking for a remote based freelance SAS Admin with 5+ years’ experience in network operations to join their team ASAP.
Ideally you will have:
• Strong English communication skills
• Working knowledge in Unix, Linux, PUTTY and understanding of Java
• Exposure to SAS EG to understand the existing SAS codes and currently working on SAS 9.4
• Worked a s a SAS Admin and should have had exposure in carrying out the SAS migration (e.g 9.3 to 9.4 which includes metadata migration also)
• Experience in migrating SAS 9.3 UNIX setup to SAS 9.4 LINUX setup
• Experience of installing SAS on VM/ IBM Web sphere server
• Knowledge of integrating the SAS VM with the WAS server (Libertycore/IBM websphere) and ensuring that the Java front end application works
• Knowledge of writing Shell scripts and making sure that the existing Shell scripts used in UNIX can be migrated to LINUX with a seamless execution
• Ability to migrate all the existing folders in Unix to Linux with a good understanding on folder structures and its migration from Unix to Linux
• Well versed in libraries and connection
• Proper understanding and hands on experience of prior migration
• Good architectural understanding
