- Production Electronics Engineer
- £400 - £420 per day
- 12 months contract
- Working remotely initially and then ideally you will be based out of Cambridge at least 3-4 times per week once offices fully re-open towards the end of 2021
Working for an amazing software design company we are looking for an experienced Electronics/Production Engineer to support the NPI process of a new development platform with our subcontract manufactures.
The role will include
- Working with our CEMs on manufacturing line setup and logistics.
- Learning our boundary scan and function tests, debugging and potentially developing further.
- Ensure production boards are on schedule and of high quality.
- Take on debug of unit failures on the line and help collate statistics on common failures etc.
What skills, experience and qualifications do I need
Essential Skills & Qualities
- Experience of working directly with CEMs.
- A creative and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Good understanding of digital and analogue electronics and circuit diagrams.
- Understanding of Boundary Scan test methodology.
- Comfortable communicating within a small team and with external contractors.
- A desire for learning and self-improvement.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of XJTAG tools and Boundary scan.
- Experience of DDR4 and PCI Express.
