Senior Network Engineer - 3-6 months - Remote/London
I am currently working with legal customer that is looking to engage the expertise of a Senior Network Engineer to manage the network testing of two projects that are currently inflight.
The first project is a Z-Scaler upgrade the second is a global SDWan project so experience with both is essential.
The focus of the role will be to provide QA/Testing strategy and help produce a test plan to ensure that all changes won't adversely impact the Network.
Key Skills
- Experience of designing, developing and implementing a test strategy.
- Experience with SD-WAN/Proxy deliveries.
- Full SDLC/STLC experience in both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Experience of technical deliveries where focus is more aligned to non-functional testing.
- Operational lead responsibility over a small, dedicated team.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills, written and oral.
- Leadership, mentoring and training.
- Experience with user-based testing from physical hosts, VM, and VDI UIs.
- Experience with various hosting solutions: on-prem, cloud tenancy (Azure), SaaS offering, hybrid.
- ITIL expertise specifically for Release, Control and Validation.
- Recognised testing qualifications, such as ISTQB.
- Previous experience within legal sector is advantageous
