JOB DESCRIPTION:Infrastructure Engineer Functional/Technical Skills and Knowledge requirements:
- Strong experience in Windows server lifecycle management like Serve build / patch / cluster creation and management / component install or remove decommission / assist app teams in troubleshooting etc.
- Build and upgrade ESXi host, create and maintain ESXi cluster (5.0 and above).
- ESXi patching, port groups configuration, security etc.
- Build and maintain templates.
- Proficient in Vcenter, Vsphere, Horizon view administration.
- Performance and capacity management on VMware servers and health checks
- Good understanding on AD and group policies
- Good understanding of DNS / DHCP management
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendor / OEM for any issues to be escalated and take it to closure
- Strong customer service skills hosted in a NOC/24*7 client services environment
- Analyze the incidents and come up with ways for preventive problem management.
- Strong demonstrated problem-solving ability and handling Projects Delivery.
- Good to have working knowledge of Anti-virus, backup, Qualys tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills
