Role Description:
Job Spec: Experience:
Onboarding of data sources from different technologies into Splunk
Understanding of data governance and lineage
Data normalisation and CIM mapping
Strong experience of SPL
Development of dashboards and visualisations, reports and alerts
Designing and building Splunk applications in a multi-site clustered environment
Experience explaining Splunk concepts and best practices to new Splunk users
Supporting users with technical queries
Monitoring and maintaining Splunk performance, availability, and capacity
Splunk platform design
Splunk platform build and maintenance
Splunk system and data administration
Documentation of architecture and operational processes
Intermediate knowledge of Git
Strong experience with Splunk ITSI (deployment, development, administration)
KPI design and implementation (ITSI)
Track work effectively via Agile methods working as part of an Agile POD
Qualifications:
Minimum 4+ years of experience with SPLUNK with experience of use within IT Operations
Splunk Certified Administrator, Splunk Certified Architect and/or Splunk Certified Developer
