Network Designer - Multicast - VPN - Juniper - Inside IR35
Marshall Wolfe are proud to be supporting a major broadcaster in their search for an experienced and highly motivated network designer with proven experience in SDN, IP Networks and Broadcast systems. You will be skilled in requirements analysis and in the production of customer solution designs.
The candidate will be able to deliver designs in a high pressure environment and will work closely with customers and suppliers as well as delivery and operational teams to ensure a successful deployment to agreed timescales.
This role will suit a network professional with a strong Juniper/Cisco, IP, VPN and Multicast background along with related technologies.
You will cover all stages of the design delivery milestones from initial design impact assessments, high level designs, low level designs, design governance, architecture and security conformance and test & delivery support to achieve business objectives and benefits realisation.
Experience
- Highly skilled/certified in Juniper/Cisco technologies
- A proven track record of Network Design and solutions ideally in a Broadcast environment
- An excellent knowledge of network technologies such as MPLS/IP, Multicasting (point to multipoint within a VPN), VPN, L3 and L2
- Ability to produce High level & Low level Designs utilising various vendor equipment such as Juniper and Cisco.
- Must have an appreciation on Software Defined Networks and the Appropriate Control, Planning and monitoring systems that could be used to configure end to end video flows across an MPLS Network
