Description
Azure Cloud Architect.
We need a contract Azure Solutions Architect/Azure Cloud Architect for a 3 -6 month contract to start 21st June. You will be joining the project to lift and shift/migrate all Servers, infrastructure service data and applications from an on-prem data centre environment to an Azure Cloud environment.
As the Azure Solutions Architect/Azure Cloud Architect you will be responsible for implementing the design (which has been finished) and the migration including building the Landing Zone, testing the Landing Zone and then being involved in the migration phases, creating migration plans, ensuring that the Servers and the systems, and applications which sit on top of them, migrate as per plan and agreed processes.
This will including working with vendors, technical partners as well as senior stakeholders in the business.

Rate: c£550 per day neg on experience. Out of Scope of IR35.
Location: The client is in London but work can be done remotely.
Skills:
You will need proven experience of being a Solutions Architect/Cloud Architect in an Azure Cloud environment You'll have been involved in full end to end migrations (lift and shift) of Servers, applications and data from on-prem data centres setups to the Azure Cloud. Implementing design and process for Landing Zone, Building Landing Zone testing the landing zone and the migration. So you will have experience in creating and writing migration plans.
You will need strong communication, stakeholder engagement and management experience.
