Senior Oracle Consultant - Remote working
As the Senior Oracle Consultant you will have the following responsibilities...
* The job holder is responsible for Technical delivery of projects by providing technical/process guidance to project teams and be a subject matter expert for the 24*7 Oracle production support team.
* The responsibilities entail areas such as execution of production support, creating knowledge base, and producing relevant data for trending & analysis purpose.
* Recommend & Participate in process improvements and cost efficiency initiatives.
* Extensive experience in database related Automation.
* Production support of database environments: Providing consulting on database Performance Monitoring, Tuning, Optimization.
* Maintain High Availability setup, replication setups and perform Capacity Planning and DR Planning
* Meet the delivery standards as per the agreement that includes quality of deliverables, documentation.
* Participate in crisis calls, MIRs and SIPs as needed and assist DBA's to handle calls.
* Stabilize the production environments and demonstrate ownership, commitment, and sense of urgency to production incidents
Essential Technical Skills....
* Expert level experience as Oracle DBA.
* Experience on Goldengate
* Experience on Oracle RAC and Dataguard
* Thorough Understanding and exposure of Performance tuning of Oracle Database
* Exposer to other RDBMS such as SQL Server, MongoDB
* Shell Scripting/Python
*This role will be inside of IR35*
