SERVICE OWNER

For one of my leading communications clients based in the Netherlands I am urgently looking for a Service Owner for a 3 to 6 month project based around 30 minutes from Amsterdam.

Ideally this will suit someone from a comms background where you have worked in an IT environment as either a Project Manager, Test manager, Service Manager or anything else comparable within the IT or comms sector.

As a Service Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality of service of my clients collaboration platform Coligo and you will be responsible for ensure the different departments involved in this product suite all align well together. Your goal is to monitor and continuously improve the overall quality of services connected to the platform my client use.

What you will be doing:

  • Your main goal is to ensure the quality of service of my clients product suite Coligo and it's underlying platforms provided to their clients abroad.
  • For this you will align all involved teams; from development, QA and operations to sales and support.
  • Monitor requirements, identify interdependencies and align with the PO on the backlog.
  • Coordinating UAT for all new functionality and features that are planned to be deployed to production.
  • Approving new releases and/or high-risk changes on platforms and infrastructure or other related components that can impact the uptime of a service.
  • Making sure the Internal service description is always up to date with new features and functionalities.
  • Ensuring group wide communication is handled when the status of a service changes.
  • Driving further E2E service monitoring implementation.
  • Having an up-to-date Service Level Agreement in place for each specific service.
  • Setting up regular reporting along with visual dashboards and relevant KPI's.
  • Solving specific service escalations if the regular escalation process fails.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • Sufficient technical knowledge to understand all layers of a service; basic testing knowledge, automation, regression testing.
  • As a Service owner it is very important to understand the customer perspective, and to oversee the quality of the complete service delivery.
  • You possess great communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
  • You are a proactive, inquisitive and analytical servant leader.
  • Having worked in high growth environments and/or multinational virtual teams would be beneficiary.
  • Highly proficient in English and preferably a second European language.

Contract: 3 to 6 months
