Description
One of the UK's largest providers of IT Services is looking for an OS Hardening Consultant with expertise in Ubuntu and Red Hat to work with a well-known Broadcaster.
To be considered for this role you must be able to evidence:
Experience with OS build standardisation, systems hardening and virtualisation
Proficiency with Linux OS hardening with Redhat and Ubuntu
Experience with modern configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Intune
Working knowledge and experience of networking fundamentals
Good skill level in Scripting and Automation
This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during deployments, plus the ability to continually tune environments for enhanced performance and security.
This is an immediate requirement offered initially for 6 months. You will earn £550 a day (inside IR35) and work a 37.5 hour week. Based mainly from home you will also need to be in commuting distance to Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
