Junior Network Engineer/Network Support - Insurance - London
This role is a contract that falls outside IR35, with an excellent daily rate. The initial contract will be for 6 months, but strong chance of renewal.
My client, a global insurance broker is looking for an experienced Junior Network Engineer/Network Support, with experience of working with the following key requirements:
- New global office setup and roll out
- Meraki SD WAN global roll out and support
- Azure networking support
- Vendor management
- VDI technology/solutions
You will have good experience of:
- Facilitate data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources and partners
- Enable and support secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
- Working with 3rd party partners and vendor management is a key requirement
- Experience is managing/monitoring and configuring Cisco and Meraki Wide area networks
- Experience of Azure cloud networking technologies such as Azure virtual network and Express route
- Provide expertise to the wider IT teams on network segmentation and configuration
- Experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and VoIP technologies
- Experience integrating network technologies into enterprise monitoring tools
- Experience is setting up and configuring remote offices connectivity
- Good understanding of routing and Firewall management
- Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve networking problems
- Monitor and maintain network security internally and externally working closely with the InfoSec team.
