Informatica Environments Manager
Contract is inside IR35
You will lead the Informatica Administration and Environment team. You will need to be hands on with skills in Informatica admin, Linux and team management. The role will be involved in ensuring the smooth running of central ETL Hub, and the MDM system.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:- Leading a team of three plus 3rd parties
- Triage and reporting on incidents including strong root cause analysis skills and experience.
- Implementing an ITIL compliant approach to issue resolution and change management
- Deployment of code to various environments
- Deployment and control of code for the full data tooling suite - Vertica, Voltage, MDM, Power Center, Data Quality, Axon, EDC
- Manage provisioning of hardware, virtual Servers, software, operating systems and connectivity with 3rd party supplier
- Configuration changes to the MDM platform
- Upgrades to all Informatica product suite
- Administration and support of the Informatica platform in conjunction with the environments team and IT department
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Good Knowledge of Informatica Administration (MDM, IPC and IDQ)
- Troubleshooting
- Informatica Admin - including knowledge of Linux.
- Knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL database technologies
- Understanding of VM's, Servers and networking
- Ability to work with a 3rd part hardware supplier.
- Application Server (JBoss), Oracle SQL, SIF and Business Entity Services, User Exists (Hub and IDD)
- Experience in Administration of Informatica
- Understanding of support tools and framework eg ITIL
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Have strong communications skills
- Working with Geographically distributed teams
