Oracle Database Administrator - INSIDEIR35
Our client within the consultancy field are currently recruiting for an Oracle Database Admin.
Specialisation in running and managing Oracle systems. The day to day job would involve operating oraclebackends, managing the operational activities onunix/oracle and help with migration of the oracle workload from on premise to Azure. Will be working with an offshore team (in India) as well as face off worth clients in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Good experience of the Oracle database (v19), related utilities and tools.
- Should have experience of running Oracle Database Platforms
- A good understanding of the underlying operating system
- A good knowledge of the physical database design
- Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and Knowledge of ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
Technical Experience
- Good knowledge of Oracle security management
- A good knowledge of how Oracle acquires and manages resources
- A good knowledge Oracle data integrity
- Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams
- Sound knowledge of the implemented application systems
