Solutions Architect

Contract (Outside IR35)- UK, Remote
InterQuest are working in partnership with well-known tech company that develops cutting edge software for a variety of industries. Innovation is at the heart of the organisation when developing their new products and technologies. We are looking for a Solutions Architect who is a hands-on technologist designing technical solutions for a suite of FinTech Products.
The Solution Architect will support the engineering team in architecting a solution that involves multiple payments and infrastructure currency types. The SA will also work closely with the product team to build an architectural road map that will contribute to achieve both short term and long-term goals.
Responsibilities
- Define the future state architecture of crypto management products to accept multiple cryptocurrencies
- Be sympathetic to Legacy design and decisions made to accelerate product to market
- Review existing architecture and add improvements to a robust architectural roadmap
- Identify and own delivery of non-functional requirements such as extensibility, Reusability, Performance, Scalability and Security
- Collaborate with both Product and Engineering teams to create high level architecture
- Act as an advocate and evangelist for best practice, including coaching, mentoring and leadership
Essential Experience
- Commercial experience of a live cryptocurrency wallet implementation
- Deep understanding of blockchains and hands on experience with end to end delivery
- Microservice architecture skills with a focus on containerised environments
- Strong architecture experience with relevant design patterns experience
- Strong background in high throughput Back End applications delivery
- Solid experience of cloud computing
- Good experience of Java
