A Security Cleared Programme Lead is required for a 6 month contract (Inside IR35) working for an MOD organisation based in Gosport.

Due to the nature of the environment, it is essential to hold current and valid Security Clearance, sponsored by the MOD or Government, or a supplier into either of these sectors.

The role will be accountable to the Programme Director and will be responsible for the following:
  • Follows and enforces defined policies, practices, standards and processes in addition to identifying any gaps supporting the remediation of such gaps for the overall Transformation Programme.
  • Translates business objectives into defined projects.
  • Provides executive governance in scope management.
  • Coordinates and integrates the work efforts and deliverables of multiple projects with multiple project teams.
  • Day to day accountability for the execution of the Tower and the projects therein including: scheduling, planning, costing, design, development, testing and implementation, alongside sustaining activities associated with the development of products and services, eg configuration management.
  • Contributes to the development/enhancement of new ideas and methods and process
  • Ensures acceptance criteria are agreed with the client prior to the development of client deliverables.
  • Plans, directs, manages, and executes the Tower through cross functional team activities to coordinate multiple projects which realize the benefits as defined by the client and SSCL, from contract/proposal initiation to the point of acceptance into service.
  • Manages the life cycle of the Tower ensuring the deadlines are achieved and day to day functions of the Tower and related projects take place to the agreed time, cost and quality in line with the agreed scope as tracked through the RTM.
  • Works with the Transformation Programme Director and account leadership to identify and improve overall efficiency of the programme in the future.
  • Applies developed subject matter knowledge to common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives, with an ability to handle most unique situations.
  • Ensures CRs/IAs are raised within 10 days of identifying the need, thereby avoiding missed additional revenue opportunities.
  • Translates business objectives into defined projects. Provides executive governance in scope management.
  • Facilitates/coordinates change management/client organization change and translates into operational plans
