GCP DevOps Engineer - £450 Inside IR 35 - 6 months contract
Location: London
Our fantastic client is looking for a GCP DevOps Engineer.
Work with technologies and cloud services to automate platforms and software deployments in a fast-paced, scalable, secure, and consistent manner.
- Manage and run production and non-production cloud platforms with no downtime to customers or staff.
- Evaluate architecture choices on an ongoing basis, in anticipation of increased scale and ever-evolving technology to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business.
- Drive infrastructure and tooling improvements that enable the business to confidently operate at a pace.
- Establish a DevOps practice that supports and enables engineers and the business.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy scalable cloud (GCP) based services.
- Responsible for automation and system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability, and security.
- Promote what we do to the wider organization and technology industry.
- Proactively mitigate for malicious security risks and put in place a robust Real Time monitoring framework.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Deep knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery tooling such as Gitlab, continuous deployment, docker and Terraform.
- Extensive production experience using the Google Cloud Platform including Compute, Networking, Functions, Kubernetes, storage, and security.
- Production experience using Google's big data technology stack, including big query, big query storage, big query analytics, and cloud data prep.
- Display behaviors in line with our Critical People Capabilities (CPC).
Useful Skills
- GCP Certification on DevOps/Architect.
- SRE Experience on Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience in dealing with large deployments.
Palantir Data Engineer - £450 Inside IR 35 - 3months + contract
Location: Sunbury
Our fantastic client is looking for a Palantir Data Engineer.
Key Skills/Knowledge
Some skills and behavior are expected for success in the role.
These are not limited but include the following.
- Good Experience working with Palantir Analytics Platform (Foundry) for data transformation and aggregation
- Experience working with Spark SQL
- Good Experience working as a Data Engineer role in building Data pipeline is a must
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, Cloudera is preferred
- Experience working with Python, R, Java or similar languages
- Experience working on Agile Methodology using Azure DevOps is preferred
- Experienced in implementing CI/CD & DevOps
- Good in communication and positive attitude.
The role is required for data engineering work on Palantir Analytics Platform (Foundry) for data transformation & aggregation using Spark SQL language.
