We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a Communications Managerfor one of their Banking sector Clients based with Remote/Sheffield/London.

  • IR35 - This role is Inside of IR35

Job Description:

  • The specific purpose of the communication lead role is to work closely with Project Managers, Product owners and Senior stakeholders, establishing, delivering and reporting progress on a number group wide communication workstreams within projects/programmes that will ensure that Client meets its obligations in respect of a number strategic and operational initiatives and require liaison across both technology and business teams.

Key Skills required:

  • Ownership of communication plans for specific project outcomes eg new application product introductions
  • Develop and drive communications that support strategic goals and initiatives - both within and outside of the function
  • Manage internal campaigns and news that are relevant to all service lines and/or products, including ensuring important business updates, success stories from the teams and other relevant information are communicated to employee audience groups
  • Create compelling content and messages to engage employees about the progress and priorities of ITID and aligned to our purpose, strategies and priorities
  • Equip people managers with briefings and material that inform and mobilize employees
  • Communicate major initiatives and support programme communication, in collaboration with relevant project teams and other communication colleagues as required
  • Engage stakeholders across Client by delivering key messages through appropriate channels
  • Provide insight and counsel to senior management on communications strategies and messaging
  • Work collaboratively with teams, to ensure local employee communications plans are aligned with global communications strategies as well as Client business priorities.
  • Monitor the overall quality of communications within the function
  • Develop strong relationships with key business support teams, advocates and other colleagues to facilitate execution of communication plans
  • Ensure execution to world-class standards and share knowledge and best practice across the communications network
  • Keep up-to-date with latest employee communications research, techniques and approaches, and network externally with peers
  • Support, coach and develop tactical communications practitioners across the region helping them to deliver consistent and high-quality communications in line with overall HOST communications principles and Client's strategic priorities
