Description

On behalf of our client, a blue chop Utilities organisation we are recruiting for an EUC Architect to join their world class team in Reading. Role will be remote but based out of Reading (although visits to site maybe expected) and this is a role that will be visa Umbrella.

Job Specification:

Assignment to be undertaken and scope of activities

  • Responsible for delivering EUC (End-User Computing)
  • Own the end-to-end EUC solutions architecture delivery with accountability for solution design and estimation. With a specific focus on EUC capabilities and digital transformation across the enterprise estate.

Skill sets required

  • Experience working with 3rd party IT teams and business in the delivery of EUC solutions.
  • Experience of working within a Solutions Architecture function, or similar function, to deliver solutions ranging from £50k to £10m for a large investment portfolio in a large organisation.
  • Knowledge following technical disciplines:
  • LAN & WAN Network design
  • End User Computing
  • End User Operations
  • Microsoft technologies
  • Cloud technologies
  • Digital transformation
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of Enterprise Architecture and alternatives.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
