Mainframe Operations Analyst - CA-Jobtrac/CA-7
Contract: 6 months
Outside IR35
Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Location: Remote, occasional midlands travel
Essential Job Duties
Provide primary support as the subject matter expert for z/OS operating systems and system components; provide direct technical support as needed in the planning, coordination, implementation and testing of releases, upgrades, or changes to z/OS operating system, network, and component software.
Provide support for CPU hardware including planning and coordination of firmware upgrades, troubleshooting efforts and other hardware support.
Diagnose z/OS platform system and product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.
Analyze performance issues and assist with capacity planning.
Assist with system-wide performance tuning to meet required levels of servicemc
Proven experience with CA-Jobtrac and CA-7 is essential
