Role: EM Sales Assistant - Arabic Speaking - Fixed Income Sales and Trading
Location: London
Initial 6 Month Contract, potential for extension opportunities
Daily Rate: Competitive - PAYE only
Language Skills: Arabic Speaking - Essential
Our client, a leading Investment Bank based in London have a requirement for an Arabic Speaking Sales Assistant to join the team on an initial 6m contract with likely extension.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide Sales Support to the Emerging Market Rates, Credit and FX Sales desk based in London.
- You will be required to regularly liaise with Salespeople, Traders, Operations, Regulatory, NMR and IT to ensure a smooth front-to-back workflow. You will also be required to follow up on KYC.
- Responsible for Administrative Support and Post Trade query management for: Flow rate and Credit products (including both cash products such as Government Bonds and derivatives such as Interest Rates Swaps) FX products (including spot, forwards and options)
- General desk support and ad-hoc requests.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Essential: Arabic Speaking
- Desired: Product knowledge of bonds/Fixed Income/credit rates
- Previous experience in a support/administration focused role. We will also consider recent graduates with a relevant degree with the required language skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
