Description
My client, a leading financial institution, has a large GCP project and looking for a Google Security Engineer to join their team on a contractual basis in London (remote working is available)
Key Role/Skills:
- Knowledge and skills in supplier assurance, having assessed suppliers using a supplier assurance frameworks, such as the Cloud Security Alliance's Cloud Controls Matrix, ISO27001, NIST etc.
- You will focus on implementing security best practices across GCP.
- You will contribute to design and adoption of new security controls across GCP.
- Experience supporting major programmes and other project based activities, including presenting at governance forums
- Experience of applying both a risk and compliance lens to security designs.
- Experience of designing secure solution, working from requirements through threat modelling and control design.
- Knowledge/skills in the configuration/settings/components of the major cloud vendors, Google, Azure and AWS.
- Good working knowledge of the building blocks of a DevOps pipeline including the integration of security tooling.
- Experience in interpreting highly technical detail, being able to spot the security gaps and then working with the change function to come up with detailed secure solutions.
£ per day, this role falls inside IR35
