My client, a multinational healthcare manufacturing and vaccine manufacturer with multiple sites in the U.K including Cambridge is currently seeking to hire an experienced Treasury Operations Project Support Consultant to assist in the transition planning and integration of a recently announced acquisition as part of the Group Treasury team.
The Job:
- Lead/support various treasury related transition and integration activities, which principally involve Global cash management arrangements, inter-company funding and system and banking connectivity
- Assess the differences between parent organisation and acquired business policies and processes and develop and implement solutions to harmonise and operate on a combined basis from day 1
- Ensure all process changes are appropriately captured in the Treasury Management System (Quantum), with any configuration changes thoroughly tested prior to implementation
- Act as the key intermediary and contact between any external consultants/counterparties and the Treasury teams
- Ensure the Treasury team is kept up to date on the progress of all projects through regular periodic reporting and feedback sessions
- Challenge existing processes to drive continuous improvement/automation
- Qualified to degree level with a professional finance qualification eg ACT, CIMA, CFA
- Good understanding of cash management and TMS system integration plus a solid awareness of other treasury areas, gained through experience working in the Treasury function of a multinational group
- Experience of treasury management systems, preferably Quantum and Kyriba
- Prior experience of Treasury integrations an advantage
