Data Leakage Protection Analyst - Cyber security - Investment Banking

Data Leakage protection Analyst role responsible for the following:

  • Ensure coordination of large cyber-incident with various stakeholders (prod-CSIRT, CISO, business).
  • Provide analysis and expertise on cyber-incidents
  • Handling of cyber-investigations provided by SIEM use-cases
  • Participate to use-case development and optimisation
  • Responding to and facilitating eDiscovery requests from IT Security, HR, UK Legal and Compliance in respect to DSAR and IT Security investigations, HR employee matters, Litigation and ongoing disputes and Regulatory matters. The role will also encompass the delivery of the completed eDiscovery search to the agreed individual via eDP or data transfer both internal and external aligned to policy and procedures.
  • The review and investigation of data leakage incidents aligned to internal procedure.

    • Looking for experience in a large & complex environment including:-

    • Information Security background and preferably relevant qualification ie Computing degree, CISSP, CISM etc.
    • Experience of Security Best practices

    Extensive use and knowledge of the following, SQL, excel (including functions and ability to manipulate large amounts of data), VBA, Macros, python, FTP/SFTP and other transfer tools, WinZip, data compression techniques, search theory, understanding of encryption.

    Role Responsibilities:-

      • To undertake searches as approved in Enterprise vault
        • To facilitate and coordinate with other IT Production teams in the provision of data not available in Enterprise vault, to ensure full search requirements are met ie Application data, voice recordings and data held on share drives and back-up tapes.
          • Ensure that CERF forms are signed off and countersigned by nominated staff for department originating the request
            • Undertaken the search in skilled manner so as not to cause performance issues on Enterprise vault.
