Role Purpose:
The role is to support and drive the business efforts to migrate its data as part of o the Global Finance and Procurement transformation programme. The role will sit in our data team aligned to the Invoice to Cash Process tower working as part of a multidisciplinary core team (process, data, org design, systems, change and communications) which is implementing a simplified and standardised landscape across the Group Finance function.
What we'll need from you:
- Process mapping, optimisation and automation skills
- Must understand principles of financial and asset accounting
- SME for SAP systems covering purchasing, budget management and control and AICC.
Experience in:
- Process lead experience
- SAP S4 experience
- Working with 3rd parties
- Lots of stakeholder engagements (a lot of which are demanding)
- Able to work at pace, problem solving mindset, producing accurate quality deliverables
- Analytical mindset to assist in root cause analysis and issue resolution.
Expected:
- Over 5 years I2C process and data functional experience in SAP HANA.
- Data conversion experience in a large complex organisation.
- Data reconciliation experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage a Matrix team on specific Issues for BT.
- Support the I2C tower by providing functional expertise in testing and any outstanding solution design.
- Bridge the gaps between data and process to drive good practice as an SME for specific data objects.
- Support conversion cycles by driving issue resolution with our third parties and business stakeholders.
- Identify any system or process gaps and use the appropriate governance to close them.
In this role there will be a need to bring people together to find solutions to problems and work to tight timelines. Prior experience in a data functional role working with S4/HANA I2C data is a must. You will support an experienced data migration lead and develop business partnerships to ensure delivery is the priority. You'll need to be able to think ahead, pre-empt requirements for key meetings, and drive the preparation for these. You'll also hold the pen on internal project meetings.
