We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a Cloudscape SME for one of their Public sector Clients based in Remote. This role will currently be remote. (Delete or amend where necessary)
- IR35 - This role is inside of IR35 (delete where necessary)

Job Description:
- A good all-round Cloudscape SME who understands technology (Servers, infrastructure) and applications that would be running on those Servers.
- Ideally an understanding of the kind of applications that are typically used by the insurance industry, or at least experience n insurance.
- Data to be collected for each application includes factors like business criticality, support tier, number of support staff, associate Servers, if PCI/GDPR/PII relevant, if connected to Mainframe, etc.
- Work with architects to identify all data points that need to be collected, and how that will be done.
- Understanding of how the applications are architected (what is installed where, and why) and the interaction with Servers and infrastructure.
- A self-starter who can be pro-active in reaching out to business application owners, arranging meetings themselves, talking to business owners, identifying and filling in gaps in what we know about applications.
- Methodical and persistent in reaching out to people and gathering data.
- Able to summarise and report on how far through discovery we are.
