Job Description
Technically talented DevOps Lead Solution Architect who can influence the architecture and design solutions for major initiatives within our DevOps Platform & Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Enterprise DevOps tool platform and providing technical expertise in designing and implementing DevOps solutions (eg Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) across the IT organization. The candidate will be a strong technical leader with a broad software engineering background. They will have extensive hands-on experience implementing and applying DevOps tools and capabilities to increase quality, improve security, increase developer efficiency, and accelerate speed of delivery.
Required Skills
. Deep technical understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps tools and capabilities, such as, Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Checkmarx, Ansible Tower, Selenium, and NeoLoad to support our digital transformation.
. Ability to design the solution architecture when introducing DevOps tools and capabilities, ensuring scalable, highly available, and secure solutions.
. Strong technical leadership and the ability to be hands on and contribute technically.
. Experience in establishing DevOps related patterns and frameworks to drive standardization and reuse.
. Expertise in cloud hosting environments, such as Azure, and experience implementing cloud-based services (eg Azure PaaS services).
. Experience with container/orchestration tools, such as, Kubernetes, and AKS.
. Communicates effectively (both written and oral) to a wide range of IT Stakeholders, including Enterprise Architecture, Application Infrastructure, Quality Engineering, Security, Solutions Engineering teams, CCoE and Sr. IT Leadership.
. Strong mentoring skills and ability to coach junior members of the team.
Responsibilities
. Provides Architectural direction of the Enterprise DevOps Platform and maintains the Enterprise DevOps tools technical roadmap.
. Lead technical implementation and adoption of DevOps tools and capabilities.
. Creates and maintains solution vision and conceptual solution architecture for the DevOps tools and capabilities.
. Provides DevOps patterns and implementation approaches for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
. Design and Implementation of Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible Tower.
. Defines Enterprise DevOps tools standards, metrics and best practices.
. Evaluates and recommends new tools and capabilities and performs technical proof of concepts to assess new tools or implementation approaches.
. Designs reusable DevOps components (eg quality and security scans) and technical frameworks to support standardized pipelines and code reuse.
. Implementation of DevOps tools on cloud hosting environments, such as Azure.
