DevOps Engineer - Azure - Inside IR35
Harvey Nash's Client are looking for a DevOps Engineer, you will be working in a Scrum team, you'll have first class communication and interpersonal skills as well as the technical ability to build and implement a best practice Azure platform, and then working within the DevOps delivery team. on Azure you'll be working to deliver new capability, enhancements and deal with day-to-day operational matters.
You should have a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure and demonstrable commercial experience with this cloud computing service. Ideally your experience should be from an Infrastructure as Code (Iac) perspective through the automated provisioning of resources and capability.
Experience Required
- Very good fundamental Azure knowledge with experience of: Subnets/VNets, NSG's, RBAC, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Azure Policy, Azure Security Centre and (Windows) Virtual Machines.
- Very good PowerShell is required - must be able to write and understand complex scripts running in an Azure environment and you must be able minded to.
- Experience using Azure DevOps; Boards, CI/CD pipelines (YAML) and Repositories
- Must have demonstrable experience in at least 4 of the following:
- Automation Accounts; particularly writing Runbook automation
- Azure Monitor; creating alerts and using Azure Monitor to troubleshoot issues
- Log Analytics; creating alerts, writing Kusto queries
- Data Factory; No experience required around data pipelines, but a good understanding of troubleshooting issues, and how connectivity is configured with Runtimes.
- Databricks; Deploying, managing access and troubleshooting. Developing solutions is not required.
- Machine Learning workspaces; Deploying, managing, and troubleshooting. Developing solutions is not required.
- Windows Server admin; Administering access, shared folders, NTFS, performance troubleshooting, installing and patching apps
