Currently have a requirement for a Backup Consultant to assist my client on an initial 3 month contract with view for possible further extension, based remotely with occasional travel to the clients offices in Durham.
Due to the nature of the role and the time scale and requirements issued by the client, candidates have been advised to hold current and active SC clearance for this role.
In addition to the above, the client has advised us that this opportunity has been determined to fall inside of IR35 regulations.

A talented Backup Consultant is required to collaborate with both the client and our end customer to support a large programme providing a next generation large cloud platform.
Key technology: HPE StoreOnce
The Backup Consultant will establish and create key technical documentation (HLDs & LLDs) with a number of key customer stakeholders.
- The Backup Consultant will oversee the rack and stack completed by regional engineers to proceed. Once completed the Backup Consultant will build and handover the physical stage.
- Design stage remote
- Other stages a blend of off site/on site at customers DataCenters in Duham
Skills Required:
- HPE StoreOnce Design & Implementation Skills
- Master and Media as physical and VM Servers - linux/windows
- Protection policies for VMware, Windows, Linux, Active Directory, SQL and Oracle as minimum.
- Integration with HPE StoreOnce and HPE Nimble snapshots
