The Opportunity:
You will be operating as a technical lead consultant, working across a number of specific projects for the development of our clients' enterprise solutions on a number of high-profile, public-facing IT applications and systems.
We are looking to attract candidates with experience of the solution architect role operating in agile settings using modern software delivery practices (eg Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, application of GDS Service Standards, etc.).
The successful candidate will also have hands-on technical experience in the development of complex, innovative solutions across the full-stack, including modern programming languages, cloud technologies, CI/CD Pipelines, SQL databases and RESTful APIs.
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be heavily involved with developing flexible solution architectures using techniques such as microservices, APIs, containerisation, orchestration, cloud-based SaaS/PaaS, NoSQL databases, etc. Producing high quality design documentation to support agile development and communicating designs and decision to clients. You will be working closely with Development Teams, Delivery Managers and Service Designers to realise end-to-end digital services.
With an enquiring and adaptable mind that is excited by working across different sectors and diverse clients; candidates will also use their experience to lead, coach and mentor more junior team members as and when required
* Security Clearance - this role requires candidates with current/recent BPSS clearance and/or the ability to pass basic security checks.*
