Description
Our client are a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and assist with some project/bau activities for the business.
To be considered for this role you will
Comfortable working within helpdesk call management software and managing queues, monitoring and reporting on performance where necessary. Ability to prioritise own workload. Advanced problem solving skills to investigate complex faults
Track record of working within a multidisciplined team;
o Effective communication
o Comfortable liaising with other technical teams to resolve cross service issues
Proven ability to deal with escalations including reporting to senior management
Transition point into support team
Extensive experience of
o SharePoint SPO farm administration
o Dynamics 365
o Power platform
o SQL
Understanding of full system development life cycle
Adherence to change management policies
Comfortable leading customer liaison meetings
Approachable, team and customer focussed
Able to forge excellent working relationships with customers and suppliers
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and option papers ITIL Service Management desirable
Experience of working in local government an advantage
