Senior Network Engineer, Aruba, Aruba Central, Workshop/LLD, London, 8 Days, Outside IR35, £Good
Our client, who are a further education college based in Central London, require a senior network engineer to help assist with changes to their network infrastructure, in which ultimately they wish to migrate to Aruba from Cisco Switches which they have currently in place on site. The role is determined as outside IR35 and will be onsite based at the campus, with immediate start. 8 Days in total.
As background to the ask initially, the successful candidate will need to complete & lead an onsite design workshop to assess the current infrastructure focusing on the core Switches including current configurations, rack space and structured cabling in place to/from access Switches. This will also include discussion on the new equipment to be deployed at a later date, providing configuration support & best practice where possible. The workshop will also cover Aruba Central deployment as the client wish to implement this at a later date. Following completion of the workshop, a LLD design will be required to be completed for the deployment, including designing the new switch configurations. Should Aruba Central be used for the deployment then configurations shall be created there, ready for when Switches are installed.
