Description
For one of our clients, we are looking for your Expertise in Network Storage Engineering and Storage solutions.
Ideally you have a valid SC Security Clearance, and you are located in the area of Erskine or Hook. The project is inside IR 35.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create low-level designs and review, providing feedback on high-level designs.
- Participate in re-engineering of existing client solutions
- Build and refresh core components of the Storage Area Network Infrastructures.
- Build and rollout Storage Area Network Engineering and Infrastructure and Environments for multiple clients.
- Provide root cause analysis and resolution for alerts and events and resolve incidents in response to escalated tickets.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Storage solution design and configuration experience.
- Good storage troubleshooting skills required for Live support and dev systems.
- NetApp skills command line experience required
- 7-mode & OnTap 9 (Cluster Mode),
- System Manager,
- Protection Manager,
- SnapDrive & SnapManager suit, SnapMirror, SnapVault. Snapshots,
- VSC.
- HPE MSA
- Veeam Backup and Recovery 9.5, and Scripting experience (preferably PowerShell) for deployment of all products and ongoing management and scripted DR Failover events).
- Virtualisation knowledge (overlap required as we present storage into VMware ESX hosts)
- Documentation experience (HLD, Work Instructions, etc.)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Passionate about technology with a natural problem solver attitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills
