Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install and Upgrade Middleware Technologies
- Migration of Applications to the Cloud
- Migration of Databases and applications to the Cloud
- Backup & Recovery setup/testing (in conjunction with Database and Client teams)
- Troubleshooting applications and performance issues
- Working with Testing Engineers & DBAs
- Apply Database Patch Updates
- Middleware Skills
- AWS knowledge desirable, specifically AWS Oracle RDS, EC2 and S3
- Additionally, experience with AWS Oracle RDS, ECS or EKS is a bonus
- Touch testing applications to ensure functionality
- Collaborating with other Oracle DBAs, Middleware, Linux and Testers
- Performing regular security updates & reviews to keep user data safe
- Mainly Middleware and applications are used.
