Description
Currently have a requirement for an experienced VMware Technical Consultant, to assist my client on an initial 3 month contract due to commence August 2021, based on site at the clients offices in Swindon, Wiltshire.
The client have asked that we make all candidates aware that this role has been determined to fall Inside of IR35, and the requirement will be for contractors to be based on site Monday to Friday, unless advised otherwise by the client.

Project Overview:
- This project is in support of the customers implementation of a SAP S/4HANA plus FPSL system to support its business.
- The customer requires detailed design and implementation of the target platform for the S/4HANA/FPSL system.
- The implementation is of the base infrastructure up to and including the SAP Basis Layer.
- HANA and Application Servers will use VMware as the hypervisor to deliver VMs.
- VMware Hosts (Superdome Flex 280) x 9 Implement VMs for: - Application VMs (RHEL Linux) x 35 - HANA DB Nodes (VMs) x 6 - Others (VMs) x 2
Project Description:
- SAP HANA
- Vanilla SAP HANA build that includes the infrastructure deployment to the SAP S/4HANA base layer
Required Skills:
- VMware design and implementation
- VMware HA skills - across geographically distanced DCs (40+ miles)
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work flexibly and to tight schedules
