Description
Currently have a requirement for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant, to assist my client on an initial 3 month contract opportunity, based on site at their offices in Swindon, Wiltshire.
We have been asked by the client to make all interested contractors aware that this role has been determined to fall Inside of IR35 regulations, and that this role will require successful candidates to be based on site Monday to Friday, unless advised otherwise by the client.

Project Overview:
- The Customer requires assistance from HPE to conduct the detailed design and implementation of the target platform for the S/4HANA/FPSL system.
- The implementation is of the base infrastructure up to and including the SAP Basis Layer.
- The hardware layer is to be implemented (HPE Superdome Flex and Superdome Flex 280 Servers with HPE Primera Storage).
- Application Server base installs (Basis layer standard installation) will also be carried out by this resource as well as HANA layer. - Application VMs (RHEL Linux) x 35 - HANA DB Nodes (Physical, Superdome Flex) x 4 - Serviceguard for HANA HA/DR Implementation x 8 - HANA DB Nodes (VMs) x 1 - Data Staging (HANA) Nodes (VMs) x 5

- Vanilla SAP HANA build that includes the infrastructure deployment to the SAP S/4HANA base layer
Required Skills:
Design, documentation, build and testing related to:
- Hana Database installation,
- S/4 HANA application Servers installation
- HANA Data staging installation
- Web Dispatcher installation
- Working with others to make systems highly available
