Infrastructure & Cloud Consultant (Azure)
This assignment is partly remote - maximum 1 day per week on site.
Cloud (Azure) specialist required for a leading organisation based in West Sussex. The assignment will be twofold; partly BAU after the project has been delivered and working with developers to identify and Design Azure infrastructure resources and automate provisioning.
The successful candidate will come from an infrastructure background and have relevant experience working on Cloud related projects, particularly On-Premise to Off Premise migrations.
Experience with ARM Templates (Bicep/ARM) is highly desirable combined with extensive Powershell Scripting experience for Cloud projects is essential.

- Experience required:-
- 3rd Line support
- Able to monitor spend in Azure and is able to identify/recommend where cost savings can be made
- Experience implementing Azure Policy/Initiatives
- Uses Infrastructure as code (Bicep/ARM) to create from scratch resources/consistent environments to be provisioned in Azure.
- Uses Azure CLI/Powershell for Scripting
- Knowledge of DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
- Can recommend infrastructure and data migration strategies from on-premise to Azure
- Knowledge of working with hybrid Azure/on-premise data centres
- Works with developers to release code
- Knowledge of DR planning
- Knowledge of monitoring an Azure environment's infrastructure & applications
