DevOps Engineer (Openshift SME)
Location: London
Rate: up to £550 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 3 months
A cybersecurity consultancy that partners with the central government to provide highly secure enterprise data platforms to public sector organizations is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer with experience in RedHat OpenShift to join them on an initial 3-month contract to help develop and deploy applications to multiple hosts. In this role, you will need to have experience using the Openshift platform to create, modify, and deploy applications on-demand to enable faster development and release life cycle. You will help establish and implement Container Technologies to streamline the software development process. You will need to have experience in supporting the adoption of software containers and Kubernetes; with strategy aligned to CI/CD foundations, pilots, or proof of concepts.
Responsibilities
- Working experience on AWS in a DevOps capacity, preferable as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift
- Creation and improvement of Continuous Integration automation across multiple platforms
- Creation and improvement of Continuous Deployment automation built on Docker, swarm, or Kubernetes.
- Creation and improvement of dynamic monitoring and alerting solutions using industry-leading services.
- Developing automation to ensure security across a geographically dispersed hosting environment.
- Provide highly skilled engineering services in the implementation of Docker Swarm, Kubernetes and containers
- Provide highly skilled usage of continuous integration (CI) tools such as Perforce, GIT, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, JIRA etc.
